Sami joined The Bernhard Academy as Education Director in April 2024 following a 31 year tenure with BIGGA, the British and International Golf Greenkeepers Association.

At BIGAA  she held various roles centered around the delivery of Learning and Development initiatives for BIGGA members. She was responsible for the development and management of the Continue to Learn education programme held annually at BTME, growing both its reputation and attendance records.

A familiar face within the industry, Sami rose to the position of Chief Operating Officer in 2022 before making the move to the Bernhard Academy in April 2024.

Sami lives in Harrogate, England and is married to a Director of Agronomy.
